Michelle Brown

Ms. Brown has 28 years of professional experience in the environmental arena in the areas of environmental remediation/cleanup, regulatory compliance, natural and cultural resources management, overseas environmental policy and management, hazardous materials management process (HMMP), hazardous waste management, green procurement, integrated solid waste management, pollution prevention and environmental technology transfer. She is well versed in the DoD and Air Force policy making process and has participated and led several strategic planning efforts. Ms. Brown utilized numerous analytical techniques to help headquarters Air Force solve complex policy development issues for Natural Resources management, Air Force cleanup strategy and policy, EMS Standardization, and the re-invigoration of the P2 program. She has consistently demonstrated the ability to communicate complex environmental policy and technical issues confidently with senior Air Force leadership, colleagues, non-environmental stakeholders, peers and junior staff.
